The Beginnings

Sammamish FC was founded in 2024 by the Sidialicherif family. The club was established to provide the city of Sammamish with a dedicated soccer team. I was brought onto the team for their inaugural season to help establish their core values through their social presence and visual branding.

What Set Us Apart

As Sammamish’s first UPSL club, community is our biggest asset. Weaving community-first initiatives into our brand was a priority. How do we convey community visually?

Coloring, textures, and people-centered graphics all played a part in developing the visual identity. Focusing on what makes Sammamish unique.

Our green and grounding coloring scheme reflects the vivid forest visuals that uniquely belong to Sammamish.

Our strong visual textures include evergreen trees, turf, and mountains.

Our inaugural season graphics were centered around players, highlighting their individuality and showcasing the club’s togetherness.

Our Unique Text

What stood out the most visually was our Univers font overlayed text. This has become a staple throughout our branding today.

This season, we have focused more on the green overlay text to create a cohesiveness for our social posting - that is uniquely ours.

Our First Campaign

Our first campaign’s goal, Why Sammamish, aimed to create a space where players were recognized, highlighted, and could share their story of Sammamish. To determine the success of this campaign, we tracked engagement rates, followers, and audience reach KPI’s.

My Continued Role

I continue to serve as the Creative Director and Social Media Manager for Sammamish FC. Covering everything from photography, videography, social coordination, marketing efforts, graphics, and assisting our first-ever Social Media Intern!

I have taken on roles outside of the club within the UPSL / USL League Two community, covering games through photography.
