Hype video filmed on an iPhone 11 and edited on Premiere Pro for the WSU Women’s Lacrosse 2023-24 season away game.

My first TikTok I made for the Washington State Athletic page during the 2024 Apple Cup. It reached 15.7K views, 2,359 likes, and gained more than 4,000 followers.
I wanted to highlight the WSU win in a different light than the coverage done from the WSU Football media team. With that in mind, this video was based on a viral trend “This & Yap”. In my opinion, the leading factors that made this TikTok successful were the video quality, the amount of attention the game received due to WSU winning, and because this was the first TikTok posted in 7 months on the WSU Athletic page.
My second TikTok made for the Washington State Athletic page during the 2024 family weekend game. Reached 44.8K views, 4,361 likes, and 122 saves.
The purpose of this video was to increase fan engagement and showcase the cougar pride on our TikTok. When students and fans saw familiar faces in this video, it incentives them to share among their social circle, boosting the overall engagement. The largest challenge for this video was to successfully edit and upload before kickoff.
Both a TikTok and Instagram story video to announce the MBB and WBB season opener game. Reached 1,569 views and 140 likes. I created a custom audio, as well as formulating the idea, and received in game footage from the video team.
However, the lack of interaction made me reflect on the content posted. The hashtag #WashingtonStateBasketball brought in 31.9% of viewers, compared to #WashingtonStateFootball bringing in 11.1% on another post. This post was also displayed roughly 30% less on the For You Page compared to others. As well as 55% of viewers scrolling away after the first second of the video. This data made me reflect on creating instantly engaging content for TikTok and focusing on hashtags that will bring up engagement on the For You Page, because that is ultimately where the majority of our viewers come from.
TikTok created on Track & Fields media day. The inspiration behind this video was to showcase the athletes personalities around a holiday question.
TikTok created from the Holiday Bowl game.
This video was a prime example of always preparing for all outcomes. Being the Coug fan I am, I created a custom audio and video idea for when they would win the Holiday Bowl. Unfortunately, after the third quarter, I began to brainstorm different ideas I could execute with the same footage. I knew that even if they lost, a video should be posted to boost morale but also increase interaction with WSU fans. Fans want to be able to express their opinion on a relevant social post after important games, and I wanted to create a space for people to share theirs.
Quick TikTok created for the WSU Tennis team.
A personal TikTok created to highlight my passion for the Seattle Kraken.

TikTok content filmed on iPhone 11 and edited on Premiere Pro for WSU Men’s Basketball team during my first media day.
This was one of many videos executed by the media team during media day, to showcase the personalities and skills of the players.
